- Tired of reading the same boring informational essays? Lulled to sleep by the same narrative about Christmas morning or their trip to Disney? This workshop will focus on working with narrative and expository genres in the reader's – writer's notebook with middle and high school students. Strategies and mini-lessons for student success will be presented. Time will be provided for writing prompts and for collaboration.
