We will be examining the ruins out of which our present-day experiences are constructed. “Nothing is created out of nothing!” This course is a selected, partial study of the history of the United States beginning at the end of the Civil War and ending with modern America. We will focus on meanings behind some of our shared memories and the connection they have to present-day situations.
