• This course covers the evolution of Western music from 500 AD to the present. The course will also cover music from various cultures around the world.

  • A technical course designed to provide
    instruction in designing graphics using a computer and
    a variety of graphics software. Opportunities to evaluate
    current trends in graphics design, appreciate the value
    of good designs, appraise the design level related to the
    printing process, paper, ink and associated elements
    will be included. The course will include curriculum in
    advanced web page design (HTML, JAVA, etc.), photo
    editing and presentation software, and multimedia
    technology. Does not meet Technology Applications requirement.
  • Gain proficiency with Flash animation and convert Flash file to video format. Gain specific understanding of video editing and motion graphics. Encourage creative studio skills.
